Victory Redesign
Victory Motorcycles is one of two bike brands owned by Polaris Industries Inc. Offering a line up that includes cruisers, baggers, and tourings provides a great experience for every type of rider.
The goal of this project was to breathe new life into the motorcycle brand. One that represents the adrenaline filled brand that they are and to deepen the story of what Victory Motorcycles is all about.
Note: In January 2017 Polaris announced that they would be shutting down production of Victory Motorcycles.

Identifying Scope
Business wanted to utilize pre-existing site structure and focus on creating new additional pages that enhanced the brand's story and showcased their versatility and involvement in community and various annual events.
After compiling the various pages that they wanted we scoped out a plan of attack. Priority would be the homepage followed by the model shopping journey. After that was complete I would move on to the story pages.
Design
With brand guidelines in place, I focused my design efforts on creating a site that effectively communicates Victory as the epitome of modern American muscle. The use of exhilarating video and visual content throughout the site help illustrate the incredible story and legacy that they wish to leave. In addition, the site would effectively funnel web traffic to retail-driving actions.
Before: Homepage (left), Model Page (right)
Homepage
I wanted to move away from a standard grid system and create a sense of motion by incorporating angles. Spacing out sections and full width imagery creates a feeling of being in that moment.
New homepage
Model Page
Utilized studio imagery, feature closeups, and interactive experiences paired with technical information in order to create a more immersive discovery experience.

Story Pages
Victory wanted to showcase the incredible opportunities that they have been involved in with their performance series. Whether it's adrenaline, true grit, or honor I wanted to make sure that these pages felt like they were a part of the brand by utilizing consistent style elements throughout each page.

Implementation
Once approved there was a handoff process where I would walk development team through the design and answer any initial questions and any additional questions that were uncovered along the way. Also was responsible for image production for each page.
Assisted in the QA process to ensure that all visual and functional expectations were met.
